What do you think we should do for the bonus points?

Keep as it was; 50 points; people earned it

At one point, I think I noticed a member mentioning a more dynamic system of bonus points--which I think would create a good balance between those who want to see the points restored and those who want to see them removed. For example >
<= 10 prompts: no bonus
11-25 prompts: 5 point bonus
26-50 prompts: 10 point bonus
51-75 prompts: 15 point bonus
76-99 prompts: 20 point bonus
100 prompts: 30 point bonus
(maybe with different numbers? but the general idea intact.)

edit: This system would really reinforce that this is not a completion event and everyone who participates genuinely matters in the grand scheme of things.
I like this idea and we could certainly use it in other events/competitions ouo

Thank you! And thank you everyone else for your kind input. Hopefully this is a system that can be implemented...I do really think that it would encourage more participation that the current system does.

@epithet I also support that idea it is a fantastic and fair compromise.

Okay, so far the strong majority want at least 35 points for completing all prompts. I do also very much like the idea of half bonus for half completion, and will be putting it to a staff vote for the final decision!

Consider the 50 bonus restored. The event thread will be updated ASAP.

Okay, the 50 point bonus is back by popular demand! In addition, the staff have decided to ALSO implement a 25 point bonus for getting most of the way. So if you strive for all but know you will fall short, if you complete 75-99 prompts you will receive that 25 point bonus for your amazing efforts! Let's face it, I'll be lucky if I complete more than 10, myself. XD
