    • I really love this new theme!

Though I did want to point out that day 72 is the same prompt from the Afflatus Issue 21. It's kind of hard to write about the same prompt twice for some people haha. So no more repeats would be great!

Hey,
It's really cool that you like the new theme! We thought it was well-versed for both the people who only write romantic/fluffy prompts, but also quite good for anyone leaning towards the darker/angstier side of literature. Hoping everyone will enjoy this theme to the very end without any hiccups!

As for the other part of your post, while it's true that the prompt is the same, after carefully looking through the mentioned thread, we found that two people on the official Afflatus thread have written for that particular prompt (given there were two to choose from). Given that it's such a good prompt and well-versed for this particular theme, we saw no reason not to include it! We try our best to not to repeat ourselves too much with prompts, but if a prompt is really good/fitting in our minds (and wasn't too popular in the Afflatus/other events as in this situation) and the majority of the people responsible for the prompt are alright with it, we see no problem in including it. Thanks for your feedback, though; it's always welcome and we're happy you enjoy the event!

    • ^ Understandable. I just didn't want to write about it then and I didn't want to now lol, but I made it work!
Excited to see the other prompts in this theme so I can write more gross romantic stuff xD

So yeah, I was one of those people that did that prompt and....like my afflatus one actually didn't have any dialogue and it really drains me even thinking about having to basically rewrite something for some prompt I already wrote for....

Glad you like it!
It's probably my least favourite so far, lmao. But mostly because I don't like writing about romance/love/etc. Unless it's angsty.

I really liked the theme! I can feel my own 100 DoS fatigue kicking in but we are so close!

Can't wait for the last 19 prompts after I caught up! Really love the diversity.

    • that's a mood tbh.

but I made it to my goal of 75 so I'm proud of myself! that's 25 more than I did last year, but I plan to keep on going until I tap out haha.
