listening to 90s female artists, plus a few stragglers from the 2000s, also admittedly a lot of the back to black album, is raising my mood exponentially

i don't think too much of it at first bc we sell notebooks & i figure it's our merchandise
but i open this thing up and the dumbass left their personal diary in the cart
..............signed with their full ass name 😂😂

I know its weird that cleaning made me happy but the floor soo needed a good bath and now so do I bit I'm happy anyway. Never once did I claim to be normal or sane, I'm not that type of boring ha! I might need a sleep

  • gonna get my employment contract soon. the position's garbage and 2.500 € per month / 1.690 € after taxes & social security contributions aren't that amazing either, but if i'm lucky, something in marketing might open up so i can transfer at a later point since everyone keeps whining about me "leaving". :eyes: plus, they're super desperate to keep someone in the complaints department as well, so if i do end up staying for 6+ months, i have a high chance of getting a higher pay. it'll just be me and my "boss" in there, so after a six month period i'll be expected to basically take care of the entire department whenever she's sick/on vacation, and honestly? y'all can bet your sweet asses i'm not taking that much responsibility for 2.5k, fuck that. bump me up to 2.8k after 6 months and at least 3k after a year, or i'm gone. you want me? give me a reason to stay. god knows 28 paid vacation days with no christmas bonus, holiday allowance, or any other bonuses isn't enough of a reason to stick around. feels good to know that, if i do my job well, i will definitely be in a "position of power" though. finally. i've waited two and a half years for this.

i also get a newsletter with available jobs sent to my e-mail and yesterday i got a suggestion for a position at an animal crematory. the entire marketing team just,,, fucking lost it when i told them about it. just because i specified i'm interested in working with animals doesn't mean i wanna be like "hey yeah i'm here to fetch and burn your dead dog fam". it was lowkey amusing tho, not gonna lie. "you might be a good fit for this position if you: love animals and have a lot of empathy for the owner/s". yeah, don't think someone wants me crying with them when they tell me about their beloved and recently deceased pet, which i would 100% do

I feel so happy and free lately. I don't know why but 2019 is going well so far! I feel my fingers itch to jump onto some free time coding projects... If only I had ideas to work on cx

I will be spending tonight with my bf and that is nice after not seeing him for a week. And sunday is a me-day. Hopefully I can spend some time then on coding & netflix.

I passed three of my exams. Even if they weren't all excellent, it's really showing where I'm meant to go and what I'm meant to do with my life. I'm exhilarated that I don't have to retake a subject I absolutely dreaded and even if the mark wasn't all that good, I passed. And this makes me feel like less of a failure.

I'm slowly shedding off the weight I gained during the holidays. With some quirks here and there, I'm slowly getting back and moving forward to my goals without starvation or fasting. It just feels nice to finally be in control of my own body, even if it needs a lot of work to get where I want it to be.

Even if the start of 2019 was difficult and full of reading, stressing and crying, I'm hoping January will bring me good results and I'll have time to do what I want. It's been a journey on its own but I'm actually seeing the light at the end of this dark tunnel and, maybe, it's meant to get better with enough time.

  • violent delights & regalrose offer such aesthetic clothes/jewellery and i'm fucking deceased
i'm definitely gonna order some stuff from those sites eventually, i'm living for them
it sucks that they're UK-based companies because of shipping, but y'know
at least i finally found aesthetic stuff that isn't cheap shit from china or sth

also, two girls called my dog a pug today
my huge, fat, absolute fucking monstrosity of a boxer was reduced to a tiny ass pug
it was amusing to say the least, and reminded me of the days she was tiny enough to pass as a pug
she fit right into my lap and was so light,,, i carried her up and down the stairs,,,
now her fat ass barely fits into my lap anymore when she tries to sit on me & i can't even lift her off of the ground
i can't believe it's been nearly nine years now since i got her? jesus christ, what the fuck happened, it's been almost a decade
to think i had to beg my parents for years to get a dog... and that we nearly didn't even consider getting her
she ended up being one of the only good decisions i made in my life, and one i will never regret

Deep and I found a new site to role play on and so far so good, I'm having real fun there. It's helluva lot more active there! This is really good for us because Deep has left this site. The only downside to the site is that they don't have personal storage threads only coding storage but it's still pretty cool.
