  • 1. Does your character have a habit or something that gives away when they are nervous?
He rarely ever gets nervous anymore, but when he does get nervous he will become silent, quiet, or seem to close himself off a little bit more than he usually does. But, overall very few people are able to make him nervous.

    2. How does your character respond to stressful situations?
    By killing them.

    3. Is your character able to lie to others? Are they good at it?
Yeah, he lies to people constantly. At first he wasn't so good at it, and he couldn't get away with anything. But, now lying is essential to him.

    4. Name three things your character fears - is there one they fear more than the others?
Going to back to his past, dying, being abandoned by the people that he loves. He fears all of them equally, but slightly fears his past a little bit more than he does his past.

    5. Where would your character go if they wanted to be alone?
    To his apartment.

    6. If your character could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
He would probably have a cat, but his best friend has a cat so technically he does have a cat.

    7. Does your character prefer hot weather or cold weather? Or are they not bothered?
He prefers cold water, but otherwise he has no preference.

    8. Has your character ever kept any kind of diary or journal? If so, why?
Maybe once in his lifetime, but now he probably wouldn't even know what to write in one

    9. What would your character's dream wedding be like?
A wedding on a beach, underneath the moonlight. And then after they kiss everyone would stand up and release their lanterns into the air, to put it shortly.

    10. What does your character think about kids? Do they want any of their own?
Well, he wouldn't kill them. With the right person, yes. He would want kids if the other wanted them too.

    11. What's the first word that comes to mind to describe your character?
    Corrupted

    12. Does your character have a distinct style of clothing that they always wear?
    Not particularly, no.

    13. Is there a particular skill your character doesn't have but would like to learn?
    Violin

    14. Who is the first person your character would tell important news to?
    Daisuke, his best friend

    15. Is your character competitive?
    He can be

        • 1. Does your character have a habit or something that gives away when they are nervous?
↪ he's an open book most of the time, but some of the more notable indications of him being nervous is that he'll avoid eye contact for the most part, either that or bite the inside skin of his lips

          2. How does your character respond to stressful situations?
↪ not well - if the effects of the situation simply pertains to him then he can brush it off to some degree, but if the situation pertains to other people being harmed or threatened in some way it's one of the rare times in which he'll become aggravated

          3. Is your character able to lie to others? Are they good at it?
↪ the answer would have to be a solid no, daisuke has never been much of an adept liar, though he is somewhat capable of omitting information

          4. Name three things your character fears - is there one they fear more than the others?
↪ sharks, abandonment and drowning. due to being unable to swim his main fear would have to be drowning, mostly due to a negative childhood experience

          5. Where would your character go if they wanted to be alone?
↪ he doesn't particularly enjoy being alone, though if he had to choose it would either be his own apartment or the local park, preferring the open air rather than being confined inside

          6. If your character could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
↪ he already has one, a female mottled tortoiseshell cat called selene, named after the greek goddess. if his apartment allowed it then there was no doubt he'd have more

          7. Does your character prefer hot weather or cold weather? Or are they not bothered?
↪ he doesn't particularly care either way, though he does tend to lean more towards autumn and winter months simply because he prefers the fashion style

          8. Has your character ever kept any kind of diary or journal? If so, why?
↪ in his younger years, yes. carrying a journal also comes in useful while working

          9. What would your character's dream wedding be like?
↪ while not going into too much detail style-wise he would generally aim for something elegant yet simplistic, the type to prefer something small and inviting the few people that matter over something large and extravagant. he admittedly has a soft spot for pastel colour schemes and wide open spaces though it's not like he ever browses catalogues or anything

          10. What does your character think about kids? Do they want any of their own?
↪ children hasn't been something he's placed too much thought into; given how clumsy he can be at times he's uncertain how good a parent he would be, though that doesn't stop him from wanting them at times. currently he considers himself a pet-parent, settling for spoiling his cat

          11. What's the first word that comes to mind to describe your character?
          ↪ clumsy

          12. Does your character have a distinct style of clothing that they always wear?
↪ not particularly, his clothing style varies between well kept and business-like to borderline homeless on his days off of work, for the most part settling on business-casual

          13. Is there a particular skill your character doesn't have but would like to learn?
↪ while he would enjoy learning how to swim he simply doesn't have the confidence to, mistrusting even of public swimming pools

          14. Who is the first person your character would tell important news to?
          ↪ mostly fiarce/elois

          15. Is your character competitive?
↪ in ordinary situations not particularly, it would take something out of the ordinary or for something important to be on the line for him to feel any real drive to compete

Character Interview
x
  • 1. Does your character have a habit or something that gives away when they are nervous?

Not particularly. Chelsea is pretty good about keeping her emotions in check, but when she is feeling especially nervous or if someone knows her well enough, they can realize that once she becomes inexplicably restless and fidgety, she's likely nervous or stressed about something. Another thing she tends to do, depending on what it is she's being nervous about, is attempt to partially hide herself.

    2. How does your character respond to stressful situations?

Given Chelsea's usual detachment to situations, she does pretty well under any kind of pressure. If needed, she will take charge. Chelsea approaches most things with a level head and does well in shoving any emotions aside. She can typically defuse tension.

    3. Is your character able to lie to others? Are they good at it?

Chelsea can maintain an act if needed - such as keeping the fact that she's a vampire. She prefers not to lie, but will if she must for her or a loved one's safety.

    4. Name three things your character fears - is there one they fear more than the others?

    1. Losing her humanity. This is the number one thing she fears.
    2. Disappointing those that mean a lot to her, such as Reynard and Judas. Especially Reynard. She doesn't want everything he's done for her go to waste.
    3. Being alone. Especially now that she's found Judas. Before, Chelsea had - mostly - come to terms with the fact that she'd likely be alone once Reynard passed.

    5. Where would your character go if they wanted to be alone?

Anywhere quiet and not visited by many others. If it's night, she likes sitting outside, under the sky so she can stare at the stars while she contemplates things. As long as the place is quiet and somewhat secluded, she'll be there. More often than not, however, she'll stay in her room and keep the door locked.

    6. If your character could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?

Chelsea has never really thought about owning her own pet. She's been around dogs quite a bit and have found most to be quite energetic. She would more than likely adopt a cat for an animal companion, simply because of the fact that they can take care of themselves and don't require as much time and energy devoted to them. She likes their typical calm demeanor. However, she is not opposed to getting a dog either.

    7. Does your character prefer hot weather or cold weather? Or are they not bothered?

Chelsea is pretty indifferent about the weather, though she has a slight preference for cold weather since the sun isn't beating down on her as much.

    8. Has your character ever kept any kind of diary or journal? If so, why?

She has not, never finding the need or desire to.

    9. What would you character's dream wedding be like?

Chelsea has honestly never thought about her wedding. She's assumed that she would be alone and doesn't really pay any attention to such events. She even forgets her own birthday and usually is reminded of it the day of, when Reynard wishes her and presents her with a small cake he bought. Nonetheless, Chelsea is a simple individual and would prefer to keep things simple and small if she were to have a wedding.

    10. What does your character think about kids? Do they want any of their own?

Chelsea likes kids, though she's not in any rush to have them. She has, however, decided that if she were to have a son, he'd be named Reynard. Or, at least his middle name would be Reynard. This way, she could honor her adoptive father for everything he had done for her.

    11. What's the first word that comes to mind to describe your character?

Strong. And broken. She's been through quite a bit since she was young and is slowly learning to accept herself as she is.

    12. Does your character have a distinct style of clothing that they always wear?

Chelsea doesn't dress up very often. She's gotten used to wearing pants and shirts since they're easier to work and move around in, given her occupation as a vampire hunter. She prefers anything simple and not too loud, so she's often found in muted or natural colors - browns, blacks, and so on. On the few occasions she does dress up, she is a bit more colorful, though opts to remain as simple as she can. Later, her tastes slowly shifts into something a little more elaborate and there is more color in her wardrobe.

    13. Is there a particular skill your character doesn't have but would like to learn?

Chelsea has quite a few skills under her belt and is pretty content with what she does know. She loves improving them, however. One skill that she's not an expert in would be cooking, but she gets the job done. Eventually, she'd like to be able to cook better food and a variety of cuisines.

    14. Who is the first person your character would tell important news to?

Initially, it would be Reynard. Everything small or big, good or bad, she would tell to him. However, now that she has met Judas, she'd share any important news with him as well. Reynard is most definitely first, unless he's not available, and then Judas. However, once Reynard is gone, Chelsea goes to Judas. She only has two people in her life that hold significance: Reynard and Judas.

    15. Is your character competitive??

Chelsea is definitely competitive. She likes winning things, but she won't get majorly upset if she loses. Depending on what she is being competitive about and with who, she may end up shrugging her loss off or playfully pouting about it. She won't do whatever it takes to win, preferring to play fair. At least, somewhat fair. Sneak attacks during a tickle fight probably isn't very fair.

      • brian allen marsten

        1. Does your character have a habit or something that gives away when they are nervous?
brian kind of just .. shuts down . he wont look at anyone and keeps his eyes to the ground , and keeps quiet to avoid saying anything he shouldn't . it's very rare that he does truly get nervous , but when he does , he's a dead giveaway for it .

        2. How does your character respond to stressful situations?
brian's immediate response to stress is a cigarette - marlboro reds are his cancer stick of choice . he thinks quick on his feet but is quick to give up if things dont fix themselves very quickly . if it's too stressful , he'll probably just give up right away and allow himself to succumb to the stress and drink it off .

        3. Is your character able to lie to others? Are they good at it?
for sure . brian's been lying his entire life - though never out of spite or to ruin someone else's reputation . usually his lies were to protect himself , his family or someone he cares about . overtime he's grown to be very good at lying - to the point that his desperation at telling the truth comes off as a lie rather than actual lies themselves .

        4. Name three things your character fears - is there one they fear more than the others?
        - his greatest fear is that he'll become like the men his mother allowed herself to be with . she's a drug user and tends to fall for dealers , though they're typically violent , abusive men . brian suffered his deal of abuse in his mothers home and has a vow with himself to never become like them.
        - brian also has a very strong fear of heights . he isn't sure where this stems from , but it's developed to be a very bad fear .
        - losing anyone he's close with or really cares for . brian gets attached very easily , even if he doesn't show it . he's constantly scared that someone he loves is going to leave him somehow , and would more than likely end up blaming himself .

        5. Where would your character go if they wanted to be alone?
down by the river his town rests beside , there are these old buildings that really weren't ever completed . just concrete walls with holes where doors and windows should be . graffiti covers all of the walls and there's gravel surrounding the area . chainlink fences surround the premises - the cities' way of keeping people out , though clearly it doesn't work . this is brian's go-to spot for some alone time , usually accompanied by the dearest mary jane .

        6. If your character could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
honestly i'm not too sure that brian could properly care for any pet . although if he had to choose , his go-to would probably be a dog . as a kid he'd always wanted one but that never happened .

        7. Does your character prefer hot weather or cold weather? Or are they not bothered?
brian's never really had a preference . where he lives , it gets very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer , so he's grown accustomed to both in extremes .

        8. Has your character ever kept any kind of diary or journal? If so, why?
        nope

        9. What would you character's dream wedding be like?
i'm not too sure brian could see himself getting married , really .

        10. What does your character think about kids? Do they want any of their own?
kids are a no . brian constantly sees his child self whenever he's making poor decisions , though usually it doesn't stop him , it does leave a constant reminder that who he is now would be a disappointment to his younger self , and he doesn't want to be that way to a child of his own .

        11. What's the first word that comes to mind to describe your character?
        broken

        12. Does your character have a distinct style of clothing that they always wear?
casual yet comfy . a v-neck t-shirt , jeans and vans are a quick and typical go-to for him .

        13. Is there a particular skill your character doesn't have but would like to learn?
self control . he's never had much of it , and he's extremely impulsive . he doesn't ever seem to think about the consequences of his actions . though a generic skill ? knitting .

        14. Who is the first person your character would tell important news to?
his mother . despite his distance with her after he left her home , he's always been a momma's boy and keeps up with her as best as he can .

        15. Is your character competitive?
yes , although i think it's unintentional . he feels like people aren't believing him and has a constant need to prove himself and prove his reliability and trustworthiness , which can be a trip of it's own if he really feels distrusted .

character interview // anna hayes

  • 1. Does your character have a habit or something that gives away when they are nervous?
anna is not one for getting nervous easily, but when she does get nervous it tends to be pretty obvious. she'll fidget with things - tapping pencils on things, twisting strands of hair, shredding up paper - or, in some cases, there will be little sparks of electricity sparking along between her fingers. that's usually the most obvious giveaway which is the main reason she has worked so hard at resisting the nerves when they start to creep up on her.
    2. How does your character respond to stressful situations?
it depends on what the situation is. as a hacker she works well under pressure so sometimes stress is good for her, however being in a situation where she or somebody else is in danger or at risk of physical harm is not something she often deals well with. regardless of the situation she is likely to try her best to act as if it isn't bothering her and will avoid bothering anybody else about it.
    3. Is your character able to lie to others? Are they good at it?
yes and yes. she's a mutant and has spent most of her life keeping this fact hidden. combined with her unethical activities lying has become an unavoidable and natural part of her life. that's not to say that she enjoys it, in fact she hates the fact that she is living a lie, but it's a necessary evil that has stopped her from being locked up in a facility somewhere so she has just had to learn to live with it. occasionally she struggles to lie to the people she is close to as they know her well enough to pick up on smaller things, but for the most part she can manage it reasonably well.
    4. Name three things your character fears - is there one they fear more than the others?
    - exposure
    - being trapped
    - getting close to people
by far she fears exposure the most. if her abilities are exposed there are many people who would come for her with bad intentions and she would lose the life she's worked so hard to build for herself. this fear of exposure is also linked to anna's fear of being trapped, as she would most likely end up being kept somewhere against her will by people wanting to use her for her powers.
    5. Where would your character go if they wanted to be alone?
the roof of her apartment building. she has to climb out of her window and scale the rusted fire escape to get there but nobody else ever tends to be up there so she knows she can be completely alone with her thoughts. she's used it several times to hide from people who she has stolen from on behalf of a client, or even just from over-enthusiastic men who have stalked her home from the bar.
    6. If your character could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
some kind of bird - she loves african grey parrots and would have one if she could - probably named senu, or else a pair of lorikeets that would be called gadget and gizmo. in the meantime she'll just need to make do with the stray cat that frequently appears on her fire escape and meows until she lets it in.
    7. Does your character prefer hot weather or cold weather? Or are they not bothered?
it's a very close call but she leans ever so slightly towards preferring hot weather. she can't stand being so cold that she can't stop shivering as it makes her night job incredibly difficult. she's always had a higher tolerance for heat than cold, especially due to the temperatures where she lives.
    8. Has your character ever kept any kind of diary or journal? If so, why?
when she was a little girl anna had a silly diary that she would keep and scribble down all of her 'top secret' ideas in, but other than that it's never something she's bothered with. she doesn't see the sense in leaving information about herself lying around, not when she's spent so many years trying to keep her secrets to herself.
    9. What would you character's dream wedding be like?
it would be extremely quiet and nothing very exciting. anna doesn't have many friends or keep in touch with her family anymore and they would be the only reason she'd have considered having any kind of impressive ceremony - and she's never understood the desire people have to spend a ridiculous amount of money just for one day. not when they already know they should be spending the rest of their lives celebrating together anyway.
    10. What does your character think about kids? Do they want any of their own?
anna loves kids but she has always kept her distance for fear of hurting them. she gets extremely protective where children are concerned and will not hesitate to help a kid if she sees them struggling or in trouble. once upon a time she might have wished for kids of her own but she isn't certain her life will ever be stable or safe enough for her to happily raise a child of her own.
    11. What's the first word that comes to mind to describe your character?
    survivor.
    12. Does your character have a distinct style of clothing that they always wear?
usually darker/muted colours are her thing, and any clothes that are comfy enough for her to easily move around and work in. she tends to be found in jeans and different combinations of shirts and hoodies for the most part - although she does love an occasion to dress up nicer every so often.
    13. Is there a particular skill your character doesn't have but would like to learn?
she would love to learn how to properly cook. she can do basic things but for the most part she doesn't have the time or energy to cook much and lives off of food that isn't particularly good for her, so if the chance arose she would jump at the chance to learn how to make more exciting things for herself.
    14. Who is the first person your character would tell important news to?
at the moment anna doesn't really have anyone that she's close enough to that she'd share any majorly important news with - she'd likely keep anything to herself until an occasion comes up where it is relevant to share the news.
    15. Is your character competitive?
she is quietly competitive for the most part - she enjoys a challenge and coming out on top of things but she doesn't tend to go out of her way to try and out-do people. her hacking is an exception, and she gets competitive in a sense of she refuses to let someone else beat her at her own game.

character interview // alaya elster

  • 1. Does your character have a habit or something that gives away when they are nervous?
alaya tends to get very quiet when she's nervous. she finds it hard to sit still and will fidget or pace around to try and distract herself. she'll also seek out the company of someone she cares about - usually liam - and will just sit by them in silence because it helps to calm some of the nerves.
    2. How does your character respond to stressful situations?
not very well usually. she's a very gentle person and dislikes situations where there is a lot of tension or stress. that being said, if alaya is able to do something to try and resolve the situation she will throw herself into that as a distraction and do her best to sort things out, despite how stressed out or worried she may be.
    3. Is your character able to lie to others? Are they good at it?
she dislikes lying to others which is just as well because she's pretty bad at it. alaya is a pretty open and easy to read person and as such is usually awful at hiding when she is lying. despite this, if someone does call her out for lying about something she can be quite good at managing to avoid telling them what she's hiding - especially if she's lying about something on behalf of someone else.
    4. Name three things your character fears - is there one they fear more than the others?
    - the dark
    - small spaces
    - drowning
she fears all three of these things pretty equally for different reasons, and finding herself faced with any of them makes her incredibly uncomfortable and she'll start to get very panicky.
    5. Where would your character go if they wanted to be alone?
there are not many occasions that alaya finds herself wanting to be alone, much preferring the company of other people, but there was a small park nearby her old place that she would go to from time to time and it was usually very quiet.
    6. If your character could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
alaya would love to have a dog some day, probably some kind of collie because she loves the energy they have and how intelligent they are. mostly she'd want some sort of pet that she could cuddle for comfort.
    7. Does your character prefer hot weather or cold weather? Or are they not bothered?
cold weather, easily. which isn't surprising when you consider that her boyfriend is the living embodiment of black ice. she's long since grown used to cold temperatures and there's something about snow and ice that has just always seemed kind of magical to her.
    8. Has your character ever kept any kind of diary or journal? If so, why?
she never cared much for writing thoughts down and keeping them to herself before atlantis, but whilst she was trapped there alaya found a great deal of comfort in writing things down in a diary - especially since she was keeping her true identity a secret from the humans so wasn't able to talk about all of her friends and what she had lost.
    9. What would you character's dream wedding be like?
this is something that alaya has never really thought too much about since she had always dreamed of finding the right person and planning something together to create a dream wedding for the two of them. all she knows is that she would definitely want to have her friends all there to celebrate with them, and that she would keep it towards the simpler side of things. as long as she can be happy, she doesn't really care about what the day is like.
    10. What does your character think about kids? Do they want any of their own?
she adores children. she used to work as a nurse in a children's ward and loved every minute of it. alaya will always make time for a kid that wants her attention and would never willingly ignore one. she's always wanted to have her own family and be a mother, but she never thought she would find the right person for that to ever happen.
    11. What's the first word that comes to mind to describe your character?
    gentle.
    12. Does your character have a distinct style of clothing that they always wear?
she wears a mix of everything with no particular styles or looks that she prefers over anything else. the main thing is that you won't find much in the way or dark clothing in her wardrobe - alaya prefers bright or pastel colours. the main exception is the small stash of liam's jumpers she has acquired that are far too big for her but she loves wearing them around the house.
    13. Is there a particular skill your character doesn't have but would like to learn?
alaya would like to learn how to play an instrument. she loves music and is often found singing or humming to herself as she works, but she's never gotten round to learning to play an instrument. she'd probably want to start with piano when the opportunity arises.
    14. Who is the first person your character would tell important news to?
liam. he's her best friend and the love of her life, anything important she finds out will be passed onto him as soon as she gets the chance to tell him.
    15. Is your character competitive?
not very seriously. she gets playfully competitive with friends when silly challenges are involved but mostly she's not bothered.

    • 1. Does your character have a habit or something that gives away when they are nervous?
Kalea functions at a low-level of anxiety on a daily basis. However, when it does spike, her middle finger and thumb are worn around her left wrist like a bracelet. The level of stress can be determined by how aggressively she is gripping her wrist.

      2. How does your character respond to stressful situations?
Kalea faces them head on, preferably with the company of her long-time friend Shepherd.

      3. Is your character able to lie to others? Are they good at it?
Fortunately, Kalea has learned to lie well. They come out smoothly and strongly, only detectable by those that know her best. However, she chooses not to lies most of the time, only in regards to her uncanny psychic abilities when others ask or are around.

      4. Name three things your character fears - is there one they fear more than the others?
Those around her dying, losing everyone's trust, most bugs. Obviously bugs is the lowest on that list. The death of her Jeshi family is Kalea's biggest fear, often showing up in nightmares. She is constantly working to thwart any possible demises.

      5. Where would your character go if they wanted to be alone?
The bathroom. Few other places can reach any sort of solitude.

      6. If your character could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
A macaw. Birds and their intelligence and sense of danger have always fascinated Kalea. She would love to have a colorful companion, but it's not allowed within the Jeshi household.

      7. Does your character prefer hot weather or cold weather? Or are they not bothered?
Growing up in the tropical setting of Hawaii, Kalea much prefers warmer weather to snow and ice. But you'd never hear her complaining, perhaps just adding a few more layers than might seem necessary.

      8. Has your character ever kept any kind of diary or journal? If so, why?
Yes. Kalea keeps intense track of her hypotheses, desiring to know everything that could go wrong. Her journal is a mess of words and scratched out lines, as she deletes entries when she knows them to be false.

      9. What would you character's dream wedding be like?
Something quiet and traditional, with a fun, upbeat reception afterwards, where only close friends would be invited.

      10. What does your character think about kids? Do they want any of their own?
Kids come up on Kalea's mind quite a bit. When she was young, she wanted to be a mom, dreaming of caring for six or more kids, picking out their names and drawing what they might look like. As adulthood reached her and passed, she gave up on this dream, though still loves children.

      11. What's the first word that comes to mind to describe your character?
      Kindhearted

      12. Does your character have a distinct style of clothing that they always wear?
Loose-fitting clothing with intricate patterns of flowers or wildlife.

      13. Is there a particular skill your character doesn't have but would like to learn?
Photography. Kalea loves the pictures that other people have taken, and her walls are decorated with various prints of amazing shots. She dabbled a bit in it, but never enjoyed her work.

      14. Who is the first person your character would tell important news to?
      Shepherd, without a doubt.

      15. Is your character competitive?
Not even a little bit. She'd much rather be rooting on the sidelines for her friends.

    • 1. Does your character have a habit or something that gives away when they are nervous?
Besides the mostly reproachful look she usually wears getting a tad stronger, not much is given away when Janna feels nervous. Her anger does escalate to where she lashes out if anyone looks at her incorrectly, but this is mostly normal behavior and cannot be detected unless someone is incredibly observant.

      2. How does your character respond to stressful situations?
Anger and shame. Janna takes a lot of blame for anything that goes wrong and uses it to fuel the rage residing just below her skin. Stress makes this response worse and immediate. In recent years, she has attempted to smother this reaction, creating a very bland Janna.

      3. Is your character able to lie to others? Are they good at it?
She thinks she can lie flawlessly. Truthfully, she isn't great at it and has been caught in more than one.

      4. Name three things your character fears - is there one they fear more than the others?
Failure, getting lost, superior women. Janna's strongest fear is failure. She will do absolutely anything to save face and come out on top and cannot repress her competitive instincts in anything, needing to be the absolute best. Otherwise, her idea of confidence is shattered, leaving the young woman forced to pick up the pieces, always losing a few along the way.

      5. Where would your character go if they wanted to be alone?
The car. Janna likes driving when she's feeling the need for solitude, as the long, winding roads leading to and from Jeshi take her mind of off whatever is troubling her.

      6. If your character could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
Janna is not fond of animals and would not have a pet. If she was forced to pick something, it would be a cat, as they are aloof and are capable of catching their own dinner.

      7. Does your character prefer hot weather or cold weather? Or are they not bothered?
She is not particularly bothered by either and can adjust well to most temperatures. This said, she does prefer the colder seasons, as long as it doesn't snow. A milder fear of Janna's is getting lost in the cold and freezing to death, which is always brought on by the presence of snow.

      8. Has your character ever kept any kind of diary or journal? If so, why?
No. Journals and diaries are beneath Janna. She would never put her secrets all in one place for someone to find.

      9. What would you character's dream wedding be like?
Huge, over the top, and the most beautiful thing you've ever seen. Janna has a strong sense of fashion, and everything at her wedding would have to be perfect, as she would be out-competing everyone, even in this. The biggest cake, the most expensive dress, the highest number of people crammed into one room.

      10. What does your character think about kids? Do they want any of their own?
Kids are a huge effort and waste of time. Just look at how she and her siblings turned out. Janna is uneasy around children and would never have any of her own.

      11. What's the first word that comes to mind to describe your character?
      Brittle

      12. Does your character have a distinct style of clothing that they always wear?
Janna's sense of style changes on a daily basis and goes to two extremes. Some days, she prefers androgynous clothing - a t-shirt and long shorts. Other times, she dresses incredibly feminine, picking tight leggings, low-cut shirts, frilled dresses, and jeweled sandals.

      13. Is there a particular skill your character doesn't have but would like to learn?
      Gardening. She's doing her best.

      14. Who is the first person your character would tell important news to?
Emeric, of course. Important news needs to go straight to the Grey.

      15. Is your character competitive?
Oh goodness, yes. She feels the need to outdo everyone at everything and grows angry when they are blase about winning, as any loss in competition is a direct hit to Janna's self-esteem. She will do anything to win, except cheat, pushing herself further than she should, and often ending up injured.

Characters: Xavier Woods and Serena Woods (deer's girl), plus Melody Woods
Warnings: n/a
Word Count: 690

The two of them, well, they had quite a time together. They had only been technically together for about half a year before they were married. But the two of them had gone through a lot together. Steve, Ryan's kidnappings, death threats, and now there was so much more happening. Sure Serena's friends were slightly apprehensive of the male at the beginning, which Xavier understood, but they had all come together in the end and accepted that Serena was his queen. And no, it didn't have anything to do with the tattoo on his left wrist that they had decided to get him when he was drunk on his bachelor party night. But Serena did have a matching one on her right wrist, so everything was alright. The honeymoon had been fantastic, and a little over a month after they got back Serena had surprised him yet again with the news of their upcoming child. She had been, understandably so, worried and anxious at the beginning. Xavier had stood by her side, even when her three friends said she was too young. Well alright, it was more Max and Alex that were more vocal about the fact that their adopted little sister was growing up. She was married and having a child at just twenty two years old.

But Xavier didn't care, because he knew he would take care of her and as many children as they would have. So long as Serena was happy, then he was on cloud nine. Sure three cats and a puppy were already a lot for the two of them, but adding a bundle of joy to their lives would just make it even better. For months they waited for their little bundle to come. Once Xavier found out the gender, which was going to be a female, he got right on setting up a nursery. Of course Serena helped, Xavier being very protective when she decided to climb on a ladder and paint the ceiling, but he could never stay mad at her long.

When their lovely daughter Melody graced the world, Xavier was so happy. Sure everyone else was sitting out in the waiting room, ready to welcome the new addition to the family. By everyone Xavier really meant Max, Alex, Zach, Cece, Sam, Matt, Jason, Brandon, Dan, and Gavin. Alright so this little girl had a lot of extended family. Melody's godparents were already decided to be Zach and Cece. They had discussed it and come to the conclusion that should anything happen to them, they wanted their daughter to grow up in a normal environment. They didn't want their daughter in a gang if something happened to them.

The moment he got to hold Melody in his arms next to Rena, Xavier was in love all over again. He could already see that she had green eyes like her mother and would likely have the same beautiful head of red hair like her as well. He didn't want to share her with the world just yet, because he knew as soon as he let the rest of the family in she would be passed around from arm to arm. Likely Cece and Sam would be the most happy over the little girl. Her nursery was already full of more furniture and little baby clothes than he could count. Plus she he liked Star Wars, they had quiet a few items of that as well in her room.

But glancing down at the sleeping form in his arms, Xavier just wanted to tell Serena something. It likely wasn't something he had to say, but he needed to say it. "I never said thank you, did I?"

Serena looked exhausted after the hours of labor, but she opened her eyes with a quizzical look towards him. "For what?" Smiling, Xavier leaned down and passed Melody off into her arms, taking a seat and leaning over to press a kiss first to the top of Melody's small head and then to Serena's head. "For...well...everything. For giving me love, for marrying me, and for giving me the most precious little girl in the world."
