            • 1. What is the meaning of your character's name(s)? Do you think it fits them?
rather than meaning, sabazios/sabazius- the origin of the name -is a phrygian deity often associated with either zeus or dionysus. the horseman and sky father, his symbols and name have been associated with the occult (snake imagery, the hands of sabazius, etc.). now if you ask those that know him, yes, both by race and personality an infernal name suits sebadius just fine.
              2. What is their philosophy of life? Was it influenced by their past?
fuck it. apart from being depressed as fuck (who isn't?) and not in denial about it, but not forthcoming either, he doesn't really stick with long-lasting emotions. lust, rage, amusement- anything in the moment suits him. as a result, he is very much okay with concepts of immorality and death. life means little to him and before his inevitable death seb would much rather find moments of fun in-between the apathy than meaning. absolutely because this is his interpretation of how a tiefling should live, it's probably a coping mechanism.
              3. What is your characters worst memory of their childhood? Why?
though far from having a perfect memory, there's a very specific moment from infancy where sebadius distinctly remembers the look in his mother's eyes when she decided she didn't want him. an idea confirmed through early childhood- as that didn't last too long -it was probably worse realizing he didn't care. at three or four years old no less.
              4. Is your character more of a submissive or dominant person in bed?
dominant- regardless of position, gender or person, he usually finds some way to have his lover (however temporary) wrapped around his finger. not necessarily rough, style can conform to the partner, but seb's near natural need for power doesn't. he likes the control and it's as simple as that. also he doesn't trust anyone oops
              5. What is your character's trait that you personally relate to the most?
              chaotic neutral ftw bitches.
              6. If your character had to sacrifice one friend, which friend would they sacrifice?
nico. she's not a friend. just a comrade in assholery (to a lesser degree, he'll admit). their only connections are they've slept with the same person and make similar nasty comments. similar people essentially, there only needs to be one really and seb has decided that he fills that spot. cinder. similarly as one asshole is more than enough, there's plenty of hoes in the world, it's fine.
              7. If your character had to protect one friend forever, which friend would they choose?
fae. whoever in their party doesn't save far (with maybe exception of the siblings) is the real bad person here. a weird nice person-bad person relationship between the two, she's probably the only person seb would be upset over at this point. or ever, probably. an attachment that transcends familial- because he doesn't know what the fuck that is or why it's so important -in addition, she just deserves more than he does.
              8. What do/did they want to be when grown up?
die. jkkkkkkkkkk. a fighter with free reign right now, that's pretty much all he could ask for as a kid. freedom and easy living- that's all he's ever wanted, no particular dream attached to it.
              9. Is there anyone in your life that gave you the inspiration / foundation for the character?
um I always use myself and I always play a domineering asshole so like...he's nothing new, just my basic template mixed up as usual with a dnd spin.
              10. What aspect of your character do you wish was true for yourself?
I wanna be pink. or be that muscular. or be able to dual wield swords. or just generally have jb's face. I'd also like to be best friends with fae. besides that? he either is like me or off way worse s o.
              11. What is typically the last thing on your character’s mind as they fall asleep?
it's pretty empty to him. just an "I want to sleep holy fuck," sort of situation. sleep is the goal here, little else matters when he finally gets to lie down.
              12. In what living situation / location would your character most like to live?
simply if he's being honest. he'd never be able to settle down, both because of initial racial prejudice and his own wonderful personality, but not worrying about money and maybe, maybe, maybe having a place he could return to would be nice. he'd definitely still be fighting and romantically unattached- that's just how he is and what he needs to function.
              13. What form of note-taking does your character prefer, such as pen, pencil, typing?
if seb took notes he'd probably be a pen guy.
              14. What is one memory they never want to forget?
any bit of happiness he's ever grasped. there have been little fuzzy moments he's held onto, even if they rarely happen and he tries not to be too attached to the moments themselves or the situation they stem from. because of that, he doesn't really claim anything when it comes to those few memories and if he had to lose them, so be it.
              15. What is one memory they’d do anything to forget?
there's really nothing he can choose if you took away all the bad he'd have little to no life left and if you took away only one there'd be too much less. seb doesn't see the point in forgetting, just ignoring and moving on. after all, shit happens, and he can't really change that.

    • 1. What is the meaning of your character's name(s)? Do you think it fits them?
Accoring to google it means light; brightness, which I suppose kind of fits. She's a fire bender, one who prefers not to even use her bending due to fear of destruction. She's sweet when she wants to be, caring to others who deserve it, but if you piss her off she's like a fire cracker.
      2. What is their philosophy of life? Was it influenced by their past?
Akari just wants her life to have purpose. Not because of fame or notice, but because she wants to make a difference in the world and do something with her life. Not just sit around doing nothing when she has the potential to change the world. This is largely influenced due to the one hundred year war and losing her mother, of course.
      3. What is your characters worst memory of their childhood? Why?
"Losing my mother to the hands of a fire bender during the war. A fire bender, our people, killed my mother."
      4. Is your character more of a submissive or dominant person in bed?
      Submissive with Zuko eyoooo
      5. What is your character's trait that you personally relate to the most?
Probably her desire to do something with her life? I don't personally have the desire to change the entire world, but if I could make a small difference in someone's life, I'd like to. Also her stubbornness. And submissiveness lol.
      6. If your character had to sacrifice one friend, which friend would they sacrifice?
"I don't really have a lot of friends. Can we pretend Azula is a friend and sacrifice her?"
      7. If your character had to protect one friend forever, which friend would they choose?
Zuko, without question. And not because he's the fire lord, but because he's important to her.
      8. What do/did they want to be when grown up?
"In all honesty, when I was younger I waned to be General Iroh. The Iroh that wasn't batshit crazy for war. The Iroh that I got to know after his son died."
      9. Is there anyone in your life that gave you the inspiration / foundation for the character?
Nope, random as heck I guess. I don't know where my creativity comes from cause it's rare that it's there lol.
      10. What aspect of your character do you wish was true for yourself?
Her bravery and ass-whooping skills. That would be cool to have.
      11. What is typically the last thing on your character’s mind as they fall asleep?
She's usually daydreaming about something; her future, what happened during the day, or some strange warrior daydream.
      12. In what living situation / location would your character most like to live?
Even though she can get along with just about anyone and is a people person, she'd like to live somewhere with more solicitude. Or at least a place that offers her a bit of time alone without interruptions.
      13. What form of note-taking does your character prefer, such as pen, pencil, typing?
Ink I suppose, due to the timeline. If it was now, she'd probably type.
      14. What is one memory they never want to forget?
Learning from Iroh and her days as a kid with Zuko. Before she grew up and her world turned upside down.
      15. What is one memory they’d do anything to forget?
Waking up to find her father crying in the living room of their home after being told his wife was dead. She found out moments later when her father told her, but seeing him like that was almost more worse than the news.

Characters: Xavier Woods
Mentioning: Gavin Free, Daniel Black, Samantha McKay, Brandon Hawthrone, Scott Pearson, and Arthur Henderson
Warnings: language
Words: 510
Prompt: "Their love was forbidden. They lived side by side as victims of a cruel fate."

There was something beautiful yet heartbreaking when Xavier looked around. He could almost see it between everyone. Their family had grown, had come to encompass the other members of the Pack. And while everyone was seemingly finding their counterpart, they weren't really getting together. Family gathering night had become something of everyone seemingly finding a spot as far away from their crush as physically possible. Or well, at least Brandon and Sam were sitting next to each other. Melody seemingly always had spots picked out for them and most times no one would argue. Then again, she hadn't noticed the gazes between everyone. She was just happy to be the center of attention in her mind.

But Xavier could see how it pulled people down. While he wouldn't be the one to go up to two people and shove them together in a room to kiss and make out, sometimes it really did get to that point that Xavier was almost threatening to do so. Or well, he did share his opinions with Serena at night when everyone was gone and Melody was fast asleep. It usually reminded Xavier of a few different quotes within his head. The first was that everyone was a perfectly matching puzzle piece, but they were all just different puzzles. They could fit together, but they weren't perfect. Unlike Serena and Xavier who were matching puzzles, the others were all just trying to find their other part.

Brandon and Sam were getting closer, probably because of all of the injures and bonding over taking care of Melody. Plus the two of them had seemingly worked out the kinks within their relationship. Yes Xavier wasn't stupid, he knew they did jobs together. Serena had seen it too. So those two were pretty much okay. They both had their secrets and honestly the two of them were good for each other.

The problem came with the other two couples. Or rather the one couple and the two other people that each seemingly wanted to be with someone of said couple. Gavin had Scott, and while the two of them were adorable together, Xavier swore he felt some longing when it came to Daniel. But then again, Xavier hadn't seen anything happen. Arthur was a recent part of their group, or rather an introduced part of the group. But Xavier could see it. Arthur was never really one to hide what he was feeling, and it was certainly lust towards Scott.

Their love was forbidden. They lived side by sides as victims of a cruel fate. One couple destined to be pulled apart by two conflicting parts within their own mind and the others there hoping and wanting to pick up their pieces when they fell apart. Xavier just hoped that when the pieces fell, that their counterpart was able to pick them up. The conflicting puzzle pieces would soon become one big picture and hopefully that was a happy life after all of this. But for now, Xavier was merely a bystander in this game called life.

    • delta's letter to mars, based of this roleplay.

      Mars,

I don't know if this will even get to you and honestly, I'm already prepared for a return to sender or for it to just get lost in the mail. Either way you'll either get this message or I'll feel better getting it off my chest. I need some sort of closure since you didn't offer me that. You just vanished. I should have listened to the other's when they said you'd hurt me, I just didn't think you would hurt me in this way. Maybe it was too good to be true. Maybe we moved too fast or got suckered in on the idea of love. Maybe I loved you more than you loved me. Maybe you wanted something more than being stuck in a pack. Whatever the reason, I just hope you're happy wherever you are.

I don't really blame you for leaving, but I wish you could see us now. There was word in town of a hunting party coming for the mysterious giant animal. It was a threat to both the rogues and the purebloods, so we came to an agreement. We both fled deeper into the woods where there was another cabin owned by the purebloods. We live together now as one unit. We definitely aren't all one pack, but I have faith that one day we'll all come together as one. Not for awhile, though. Josh and I are sleeping in the shed outside and aren't allowed in the house. But nobody has killed each other yet, so we're off to a good start. We have a new member too, and Josh is dating Angel. It's a very weird time and I wish you were here to see it.

I just want you to know that I don't hate you. I did, I think, for a little while. But I can understand why you left. If you ever come back, I look forward to seeing you. If you don't, I hope you live a long and happy life. I love you, Mars. Thank you for the good.

The smell was intoxicating. Metallic and familiar, it called out to him. It had been months since a kill like this; one that would crawl deep into his very soul, wrap itself around his lungs and squeeze until there was nothing left apart from death and the blood sticking to his robes. It felt exhilarating; an emotion he forgot over the years. But now, it all changed and he was standing there, waiting for someone to drag him out of that hellish dream which reeked of decay. Minutes passed, long and torturous. And he stood there, fingers curled into the hem of his bloody, tattered clothes. As a mistress, the feeling of success enveloped him, clutching at his sides as the man calmly looked at the forest stretching out in front of him. It was peaceful.

After what felt like a century, the sound of distant footsteps reached his ears, causing the man to smirk. Had it been anyone else than his companion, his blades would already be unsheathed, pale eyes gleaming wildly under the starry skies above. But as he turned around to face his challenger, only feminine and elegant youth greeted him, an irritated spark reflected in the green eyes staring back at him. In spite of her enraged and rebellious spirit, Evelyn was always beautiful, overpowering his chill with ease. "You are a fool, Hawthorne," was all that she muttered before leaping forward, crushing her body against his in what turned out to be a warm, inviting embrace. He didn't reciprocate, opting to stand motionlessly with his pale eyes focused on the stars above them. As the woman pulled away, the front of her robes shone red. Leaning towards her, the man couldn't help enjoying it.

"I did everything in my power to keep our lives stable," he replied calmly, wrapping his arm around the shorter woman, leading her to stand at the edge of the forest; somewhere in the distance, he could already hear the sound of hooves and people whispering. They had very little time before the couple would be on the run again, putting more distance between their brotherhood and the guild of hunters. "And if it costs me a lifetime spent in France, then so be it," he couldn't stand to look at the thoughtful, unsupportive look on her features. Evelyn had always been quick to assess the situation, even if her words were often blunt and hurtful. But now, all he could see in her gaze was pity and regret. "Do not mourn the past, sister, for it is left behind us," he grunted, moving away from her and elegantly pushing his daggers into their sheaths. It was difficult to see the tremble in his movements.

"You risked everything in order to keep her safe," the woman's voice was accusatory, but there was no real threat in her tone. If anything, she almost sounded guilty; as if she felt responsible for his quick and impulsive choices that had turned many things in their lives around. Sighing, Evelyn leaned against his shoulder, ignoring the chaos quickly growing in loudness and distance behind the two. "Was it needed, Ray? A lifetime changed just so we could be faster to help a country destined to die and be reborn?" For now, all that she could do was trust in his decision and work in order to keep their small group of assassins safe until their services would be needed. But it was a difficult task for her, storing memories of two different lives inside of her mind. She had been a princess, living a life of luxury and wealth. Nowadays she was a fighter for liberty and using her blades without mercy.

"Perhaps she does not remember either of us. That is a possibility I am willing to risk," the man smirked, pulling down his hood and letting his black, shoulder-length hair fall from the loose ponytail he had kept it in. It would take a few years until he would understand the importance of his actions, but now, he was content. "But if she does, I can guarantee the Princess will be enraged by what I have put at risk if it meant her survival," Ray spoke calmly, almost as if he truly believed that what he had done was just. Life was a fickle thing and he truly didn't mind throwing his own existence down the drain if it meant someone more valuable would remain alive. "I would much rather ask for forgiveness than permission," he turned just in time to watch Evelyn frame his cold cheeks with her elegant hands, watching the man before she pressed a chaste, innocent kiss to his lips, the metallic scent of blood surrounding them as the hunting party grew closer. She pulled back and they kept looking at each other, deep in thought. She spoke first.

"Maybe it is time to visit our dear friend," Evelyn laughed, approaching the forest and lowering one hand on a nearby trunk, climbing up to the lowest branch and looking at her companion from above. It wasn't going to be an easy life as someone different than in the past, but she could manage a different life if he stayed by her side. "Even if the past is erased and our roles are changed, you are still the assassin and she is still the royal. Perhaps our dearest saviour is unable to look you in the eye, but I would still love to witness you grovelling at her feet," Evelyn laughed, watching as the man pulled his hood up, elegantly joining her in the trees as the pair began their escape, exchanging stories as their pursuers chased uselessly after the two. Perhaps Ray had sacrificed everything, choosing to erase the old guild living in the depths of France in exchange for Sybil's survival, buying a bit more time for her kingdom. Even if the blood of his brothers was on his hands, he felt content. For his loyalty had always been with the crown.

    • i. what is the meaning of your character's name(s)? do you think it fits them? his name doesn't have a specific meaning, tbh. i just yanked it from an orc name generator bc i'm an uncreative sob (:
ii. what is their philosophy of life? was it influenced by their past? honour in combat above all else. mothrul will never fight dirty just to win, and is far from a sore loser. this is simply brought on by his upbringing in the stronghold, and is a doctrine honoured by most orsimer.
iii. what is your characters worst memory of their childhood? why? probably the day he was told what was to happen in order to succeed his father.
iv. is your character more of a submissive or dominant person in bed? dominant all the way. between him being an orc and the beast blood flowing through his veins... well, you get the picture
      v. what is your character's trait that you personally relate to the most? his willingness to defend others with all he has, even his life if it came down to it.
vi. if your character had to sacrifice one friend, which friend would they sacrifice? mothrul honestly doesn't have many friends, and he would do everything he could before ever even thinking about sacrificing someone he knew or loved.
vii. if your character had to protect one friend forever, which friend would they choose? ri'arji. the quirky little khajiit quickly became a very good friend of his, and one who he would protect until oblivion came crashing down on the two of them.
viii. what do/did they want to be when grown up? as the son of the chieftain, mothrul didn't really have much of a choice when it came to his future. he is destined to rise to the role upon his father's death, though in the meantime, he acts a sell-sword and mercenary.
ix. is there anyone in your life that gave you the inspiration / foundation for the character? tbh most of his characteristics i picked off from one of my own skyrim saves. i've always loved orcs, and i guess with some of his personality traits i kind of took from both myself and other people i've met throughout the years. hard to really differentiate what came from where though.
      x. what aspect of your character do you wish was true for yourself? hmm. i'm not really sure? ig it'd be nice to have his courage tbh
xi. what is typically the last thing on your character’s mind as they fall asleep? whether or not he and whoever is with him is safe or not. he always is the last one to fall asleep if he is with others, wanting to make sure that their camp is safe.
xii. in what living situation / location would your character most like to live? despite growing up in a stronghold, the living situation there isn't the most ideal to him. he prefers to have a more migratory lifestyle rather than being tied down to one place for the rest of his life.
xiii. what form of note-taking does your character prefer, such as pen, pencil, typing? as there's no method or means for typing in skyrim, he prefers to write everything down. anything will do for him -- quill on paper or charcoal on a cave wall. he's not picky.
xiv. what is one memory they never want to forget? ri'arji. meeting her, accompanying her on their journey, everything about her.
xv. what is one memory they’d do anything to forget? seeing past companions fall

based off this roleplay

1. What is the meaning of your character's name(s)? Do you think it fits them?
google says the james means "supplanter" which does fit his character. after losing steve and took the mantle of captain america on for himself, he did feel that he didn't deserve to take the title. he never believed the title should have been given to him and it should have been laid to rest along with steve.

2. What is their philosophy of life? Was it influenced by their past?
his philosophy for life is to hold onto the things you've got and don't take a moment for granted. he's lost so much in such a short amount of time that when he finally got time to sit down and think, he realized how much he had brushed off. now he sits back and enjoys the small things and always tries his best to make time for the people he cares about, even if its only a few minutes for them.

3. What is your characters worst memory of their childhood? Why?
anytime steve would get sick. even if it was pretty often, there were several times he thought that'd he would lose steve for good. he was always terrified he'd never get to hold steve or listen to his voice again. so any memory of steve getting deathly ill always scared him like there was no tomorrow.

4. Is your character more of a submissive or dominant person in bed?
definitely a submissive. although he is able to dom, majority of the time he's submitting to steve.

5. What is your character's trait that you personally relate to the most?
his selflessness. he's always looking out for the underdogs and always is putting other people before himself, even if it'll cost him.

6. If your character had to sacrifice one friend, which friend would they sacrifice?
natasha. he doesn't trust her fully, but if it came down to it, natasha would be the one to go.

7. If your character had to protect one friend forever, which friend would they choose?
hands down, steve. he's already lost steve several times, so he'd be willing to throw himself in the line of danger if he had to so he could insure steve's safety.

8. What do/did they want to be when grown up?
he's always wanted to be a long distance shooter in the army. he's never been one for upfront fighting, and would rather sit back a safe distance and shoot.

9. Is there anyone in your life that gave you the inspiration / foundation for the character?
not really. just going with the flow for him.

10. What aspect of your character do you wish was true for yourself?
the ability to never give up.

11. What is typically the last thing on your character’s mind as they fall asleep?
steve. in recent years, its been steve more often than not. especially when he first woke up in the new century with nothing other than the memories of losing everything.

12. In what living situation / location would your character most like to live?
he'd live anywhere as long as he had steve by his side. but he would prefer to live somewhere up high. he wants to be able to look out and be aware of everything around him.

13. What form of note-taking does your character prefer, such as pen, pencil, typing?
pencil. he's old fashioned in a sense where he always carries a notebook or journal around instead of a laptop or using his phone like most people do nowadays.

14. What is one memory they never want to forget?
the fear and sadness he felt when he lost steve for the first time. its what keeps him motivated to push forwards even if some days its hard to give steve the space he needs.

15. What is one memory they’d do anything to forget?
the day he lost him arm. he'd much rather forget the countless hours of pain than be haunted by them.
