Character Interview x

• 1. How would your character describe their childhood?
  
  Pretty ordinary, honestly. Ordinary and simple, but happy. Casimir would often tag along with his father whenever he went to train and watch him. If he was able to, he would follow him around as he went about his knightly duties. Whenever Casimir wasn't with his father, he was at home with his mother and younger sister, helping them do small household chores here and there. They didn't have too much of their own and were mostly supported by the king due to his father's job as a knight, but they were happy with whatever they had.
  
  2. What were your character’s favorite childhood activities?
  
  His absolutely favorite thing to do was to play fight with his dad. He would sometimes go as far as to playfully fight with his younger sister, though after hurting her greatly and being severely reprimanded for it one time, he was much more careful when they did play. Other than that, he loved accompanying his dad and watching him train with the other knights, finding the entire ordeal pretty interesting and inspiring.
  
  3. What was your character’s fondest childhood memory?
  
  Any time spent with his family. One particular memory that Casimir is fond of is the time his father was honored for all that he did. Casimir felt immense pride in his father - and he's sure his mother and sister felt the same way - and it made him want to follow in his father's footsteps even more.
  
  4. Is your character a virgin? If not, when did they lose their virginity?
  
  Perhaps it is a surprise, but Casimir is a virgin. He has flirted a bit with the opposite gender, but he has never gone too far with them when courting. He takes great care of their honor and respect, not wanting to ruin their reputation. Casimir doesn't want them to be forced into marriage with him, especially if he isn't sure about them himself or if he knows she would not be happy living as a knight's wife.
  
  5. Who has the greatest influence on your character? Why?
  
  Based on the answers to the previous questions, his dad has had the greatest influence on him. Casimir looked up to his father quite a bit and aspired to be just like him. As soon as he was able and allowed to, he began training to become a knight just like his father. Through this, he met Prince Aeron, who he soon became good friends with. After his father, Aeron probably has the greatest influence on him, with the exception of the King, whose orders he has to follow. Aeron, however, is his oldest, and closest, friend.
  
  6. Is your character able to kill? Under what circumstances do they find it acceptable?
  
  Yes, Casimir is able to kill. If he needs to kill someone in order to protect the kingdom or the royal family, he will do so without any hesitation. However, it goes against his morals to kill someone he believes or thinks to be innocent. He will only kill if he or another is in danger and it is absolutely necessary.
  
  7. Is there anything your character refuses to do? What is it and why?
  
  Casimir will absolutely, under any circumstances, break his values, beliefs, and morals. If he thinks something is wrong, he will not do it. If he does, however, the reason behind it would be a very large one.
  
  8. In general, how does your character treat others?
  
  With complete respect, unless they are in trouble for doing something against kingdom rules and have to be punished. Casimir is a very honorable man, something he has learned from his father while growing up. If he has reason to suspect someone, he will keep a close eye on them until his suspicions are proven to be unreasonable.
  
  9. Who is your character’s best friend? How did they meet?
  
  The Blackrock Prince, Aeron, is his best friend. If not best, then his closest. There are not many other people within the castle walls that Casimir could possibly befriend. He holds a high rank within the King's Guard and most of the other knights aren't as close to him, most being acquaintances instead of friends. Casimir is almost always by Aeron's side and even has a room in the West Wing next to his. The two met each other when Casimir had begun training in order to become a knight. Gradually, over time, they became very close.
  
  10. If your character died or went missing, who would miss them?
  
  Casimir's sister definitely would. Although he does not get to see her as often now that she's married, he knows she would miss him. Other than Aeron, the knights he works with, and his sister, however, he currently has no other loved ones he would be leaving behind. His father passed when he was just a teenager and his mother passed years prior.
  
  11. What does your character look for in a potential lover?
  
  Casimir actually isn't too sure what he wants for in a potential lover. He just knows that he wants someone who could handle the sort of lifestyle he lives and be able to handle being a knight's wife. Casimir doesn't want to leave behind a wife and family with no means of taking care of themselves if something were to ever happen to him. That being said, it's not entirely easy figuring what qualities would be necessary for that. He's decided that he'll know when he meets the right woman.
  
  12. How can someone impress your character?
  
  Casimir tends to remain pretty neutral about many things. He, however, can maybe be impressed by doing something risky or gutsy. Not anything stupid, however. For instance, someone speaking their mind, especially when it is of an unpopular opinion. He'd probably be most impressed by someone doing something despite being fearful - especially if it was for the sake of someone else - and showing courage in that manner.
  
  13. What are your character’s pet peeves?
  
  Casimir absolutely cannot stand the men who cannot treat women with the respect they deserve. It bothers him when they pay a woman little respect, especially when done behind the woman's back. He also doesn't like it when people are stupidly reckless.
  
  14. Name three things your character is good at. Name three things they’re bad at.
  
  Casimir is good at listening and showing his support. He is good at giving advice, being rational, and having a level head on his shoulders. He is also reasonably good with his weapons and riding. Casimir also possesses a secret penchant for baking, though he rarely does it. Casimir is bad at dealing with romantic feelings, singing, and cooking.
  
  15. What would your character want to be remembered for after death?
  
  Casimir would want to be remembered for his loyalty and for being a good friend. He would want to be remembered for being a good person, simply put.

Character Interview x

• 1. How would your character describe their childhood?
  
  Pretty nonexistent. Gruesome. Lonely. Chelsea was five years old when a vampire killed her parents in front of her. She ran on her mother's command as the vampire went after her mother. The vampire had caught up with Chelsea in no time and had managed to bite her, though before he could finish her off, a hunter had managed to end his life. She went into shock then and went unconscious. When she awoke next, she was at the hunter's house and she felt miserable. Chelsea can still remember the pain and discomfort she felt during the two to three days her body went through the change of becoming a vampire. Why the hunter - Reynard - didn't kill her then, no one really knew. Instead of killing her, he decided to raise her as his own daughter despite knowing that she would become a vampire. He spent a lot of time teaching her how to restrain herself and sustain herself on a little bit of blood at a time and taught her to hunt her own kind. Needless to say, Chelsea had to grow up and mature faster than most children, though Reynard did his best to give her some of her childhood.
  
  2. What were your character’s favorite childhood activities?
  
  Chelsea liked anything that made her feel like a normal child. Whether it be kicking stones or a ball around on her own, playing catch with Reynard, doodling, running around. She particularly liked dressing up or playing house or doing a tea party with her dolls and sometimes even Reynard. During those moments, she would forget that she was a feared monster that was hunted down and she wouldn't feel as alone as she normally did.
  
  3. What was your character’s fondest childhood memory?
  
  Chelsea's fondest childhood memory is with Reynard, her adoptive father. She was feeling down and miserable one day when she was unable to join the other hunters' children to play. He had picked up on the fact that she was upset almost immediately, despite her doing her best to keep it to herself. At the time, Chelsea had been wary and uncertain about Reynard, believing him to be strict and not seeing him as a father figure at all and more like a mentor. That was the first time he had sat her down in his lap and told her that he'd always be by her side after coaxing out what had happened to upset her so much. From then on, Chelsea had started seeing Reynard more as her father figure and gradually began confiding in him more and more.
  
  4. Is your character a virgin? If not, when did they lose their virginity?
  
  Chelsea is not a virgin. She lost her virginity when she was eighteen years old when she and Reynard were staying at a castle. The King had employed her father due to hearing about how great he was and Reynard was upfront with the King about who and what she was. At first, the King was skeptical about keeping her around, however Reynard put forth the condition that she be allowed to stay or he would be leaving. Reluctantly, the King had accepted her into his castle and made arrangements for her to feed from prisoners that were meant to go through an execution that wouldn't be public. As time went on, Chelsea met the King's only son and eventually started training him in weaponry. Two years later, she and the Prince shared a night together and...she accidentally turned him.
  
  5. Who has the greatest influence on your character? Why?
  
  Reynard, her adoptive father, has the greatest influence on her. She wishes to make him proud and strives to achieve that. Chelsea never wants him to feel as if he made a mistake in sparing her life and knows he has high expectations and hopes of her. Not to mention, the other hunters gave him quite a bit of grief for taking in a young vampire and raising her as his own daughter. On top of that, he had taught her their hunting techniques.
  
  6. Is your character able to kill? Under what circumstances do they find it acceptable?
  
  Chelsea is absolutely able to kill. Not in the sense that she's able to kill a human because she's a vampire. No, Chelsea does not wish to do that at all. The only time she has done that is when drinking the blood of a prisoner that was meant to be executed. Chelsea, however, was trained to kill members of her own species and is perfectly capable of doing so. However, she has long since decided that once Reynard passed, she would withdraw from hunting her species and would keep to herself. After all, she's disliked by both the hunter society and the vampires who know of her. If she needs to, Chelsea will kill to defend herself or her loved ones. She wouldn't hesitate to avenge a loved one's death either.
  
  7. Is there anything your character refuses to do? What is it and why?
  
  Chelsea refuses to do anything that will make her compromise the humanity she tries to cling onto desperately. She refuses to give in to her vampiric instincts, especially because she knows it'll disappoint Reynard. Anything that could lead to his disappointment in her, she refuses to do. She looks up to Reynard a great deal, especially because of everything he has done for her and everything he has gone through in order to keep her alive and safe. The least she can do is not disappoint him.
  
  8. In general, how does your character treat others?
  
  Chelsea does her best to keep herself aloof from others. She's respectful and polite, but she keeps herself at a distance and her emotions guarded. Especially around those who don't know what she is, because she knows that as soon as they discover she's a vampire, they'd be filled with disgust, hatred, or fear. To save herself the heartbreak of getting close to someone, only to lose them because of what she is, she keeps herself at a distance as much as possible. Perhaps it is somewhat her fault for the lonely state she's found herself in, though she's gone through the same cycle numerous times and no longer wants to make an effort.
  
  9. Who is your character’s best friend? How did they meet?
  
  Sadly, Chelsea does not have a best friend. She's never been willing to open up completely to another person and most have not accepted her for who she is or how she was raised.
  
  10. If your character died or went missing, who would miss them?
  
  Chelsea doesn't think anyone would miss her, save for Reynard. However, it is very difficult for her to die, unless someone successfully managed to stake her. Chelsea would likely outlive her adoptive father before she was killed. Besides Reynard, the Prince who was mentioned earlier - Judas - would likely miss her. At least, she thinks so.
  
  11. What does your character look for in a potential lover?
  
  Honestly, Chelsea just really wants someone who is willing to accept her as she is. Whether she is a vampire or a vampire that hunts (or hunted) her own species. She just wants someone who can understand her and also see that she's not particularly happy with the life she's forced to live, seeing as she didn't choose to become a vampire on her own. Basically, Chelsea wants someone understanding, patient, and nurturing.
  
  12. How can someone impress your character?
  
  The best way to impress her - or, stun her, rather - is not reacting negatively to finding out what she really is. While Chelsea understands the initial repulsion towards her species, she is always infinitely impressed - or stunned - when someone either manages to suppress that repulsion and fear or immediately accept her. Also, if anyone stands up for her or rushes to her defense for her protection after learning what she is, she'd be impressed.
  
  13. What are your character’s pet peeves?
  
  Don't. Betray. Her. Don't break your promises. Don't break your deals. Chelsea takes these things very seriously. Especially if it benefits the other party more than it benefits her. Now, she's aware of certain promises possibly being broken eventually, but otherwise, she is very intolerant of broken promises and can become incredibly spiteful. For instance, if she makes a deal to let someone go in exchange for them not attacking her. If that someone throws their weapon at her while running away and manages to hit her, she will find that person's weakness and use it against them to give them a good scare.
  
  14. Name three things your character is good at. Name three things they’re bad at.
  
  Chelsea is good at being patient and having self-restraint. She's also good at teaching things to others, perhaps due to her patience and willingness to work with them in order for them to become better. Chelsea is also good at learning and can pick things up quickly. If she decides on a certain goal, she will do anything and everything to achieve that goal. While Chelsea is good at many things, she is also bad at other things, such as coming to terms with what she is. Chelsea is very confused about her place in her new life and knows that she'll become even more confused about her place once Reynard passes and is no longer by her side. Another thing Chelsea is bad at is recognizing and deciphering her own feelings. She's kept them suppressed and only associates happiness or any other good feelings with her time spent with Reynard. Love, affection, happiness. All of those positive things have been associated with her adoptive father and she has a difficult time recognizing and understanding them when she feels it with someone else. Finally, Chelsea is bad at opening up to others and letting herself trust others.
  
  15. What would your character want to be remembered for after death?
  
  Chelsea doesn't know if people would really remember her. If they did remember her, she's certain that she would be remembered for the fact that she was some fearsome monster. Regardless, Chelsea wants to be remembered as a vampire who tried her best and as a vampire that fought to cling to her humanity. Though, considering the fact that she keeps herself isolated, she's doubtful of anyone remembering her.

• 1. How would your character describe their childhood?
  alaya barely remembers her childhood now, given that it was so long ago. she grew up with her parents and younger brother who she loved. they didn't have much to call their own, often toeing the line on having enough to get by. despite this, she remembers being very happy growing up surrounded by friends and generally having a lot of fun despite the circumstances they were living under. although she doesn't remember a lot of it, her childhood had a big influence on the kind of person she is now - she always remembers not having much, and as a result she is careful to never take anything for granted and to treat people with the respect they deserve regardless of where they come from.
  2. What were your character’s favorite childhood activities?
  she adored reading as a child and would read whichever books she could get her hands on. stargazing was also something she enjoyed when she got the chance to stay up late enough to see them. her brother often used to drag her out exploring the forest nearby their home and whilst she protested it to begin with she came to enjoy it - although she would never admit that to him of course. all of the activities she enjoyed were simple things, and the simplicity of them was one of the main reasons that they were her favourites.
  3. What was your character’s fondest childhood memory?
  one moment that alaya will always remember from her childhood was the family trip to the beach. they'd never been able to afford anything vaguely resembling a holiday so the three day trip was a very exciting occasion for them all. the weather was incredible and running across the sand with her brother was one of the most thrilling moments for her at that time. because of it being a one of occasion it has always stuck in her head as it was one of the few times her family were all together and all genuinely happy.
  4. Is your character a virgin? If not, when did they lose their virginity?
  no. she's a couple of hundred years old by this point so it's not surprising that she doesn't remember when exactly it was.
  5. Who has the greatest influence on your character? Why?
  this is a difficult question to answer with regards to alaya. she is very much a 'people person' and as such almost everyone she comes into contact with has had some kind of influence on her, whether it's been positive or negative. if it was to be narrowed down to one person, however, it would be liam. he's been there for almost as long as she can remember now and has seen her at her best and at her worst. he has been a large part of her being the person she is now and has only made her strive to be better as much as she can.
  6. Is your character able to kill? Under what circumstances do they find it acceptable?
  alaya likes to think that if it came down to a life or death situation she would be able to, but in reality she most likely wouldn't be able to bring herself to do it. she has a great deal of power, especially when compared to humans, but she has never abused it - she only tends to use it defensively when she or someone she cares about is in trouble. she cares too much about other people and at the end of the day is too gentle to be capable of killing someone. she's also surrounded by people who love her and would do their best to avoid her ending up in a position where she would have to kill.
  7. Is there anything your character refuses to do? What is it and why?
  there are probably a few things, but one of the main ones (and perhaps one of her greatest flaws) is that she will refuse to turn her back on someone she believes she can help. she's extremely loyal to her friends regardless of what's happened between them and will not give up on them even if she's lost them for good. this has been a problem for her in the past but that doesn't stop her from making the same mistakes again.
  8. In general, how does your character treat others?
  alaya approaches everyone as a potential friend until they give her a reason to treat them otherwise. she does her best to be kind to everyone she meets as far as possible and dislikes getting caught up in disagreements or fights which is another reason for her to be as positive as she can around others. she is too trusting a lot of the time, wanting to see the best in other people unless they reveal themselves to be someone she cannot get on with. in this situation she will be more likely to then just try and avoid that person as much as she can so that she doesn't have to confront them.
  9. Who is your character’s best friend? How did they meet?
  liam. hands down. they often reminisce about how they originally met but hardly interacted at all and then were lucky enough to find each other again. their first meeting was at a masquerade ball being hosted by liam's family. both of them had escaped to the fountain for some air and met in an encounter that resulted in liam tripping back into the fountain - a reason that it is a memory that gets brought up on a regular basis. they weren't properly introduced at this and it wasn't until a gathering of all of the immortals that they next met and realised that neither of them were humans.
  10. If your character died or went missing, who would miss them?
  a lot of people. as mentioned, alaya is a people person and has a lot of friends. she's generally an upbeat and optimistic person and her being missing would be noticeable. she has several close friends who would miss her dearly, and liam especially would be distraught - much in the same way she was distraught when she thought she had lost him.
  11. What does your character look for in a potential lover?
  someone she can rely on and who will be there through the good and the bad. someone who would be a best friend. she found all of this in liam and couldn't be happier - they're perfect for each other.
  12. How can someone impress your character?
  by being kind - either to her or to others. she's not one to be impressed by displays of strength or power but if someone demonstrates compassion when there's another option available alaya will be impressed.
  13. What are your character’s pet peeves?
  when people argue for no real reason - especially when they're in the wrong, are aware of that fact, but still continue to try and argue their case anyway. alaya also hates it when people are cruel or unkind to children simply because they "don't like children."
  14. Name three things your character is good at. Name three things they’re bad at.
  alaya is good at defusing arguments before they can completely blow up. she's become an incredible baker after putting in a great deal of practice. she is also good at listening and is more than happy to simply be someone people can talk to when they need it. whilst she can settle arguments between other people, alaya is bad at dealing with confrontation when it's directed at her. she's bad at taking charge and being in a leadership position and actively avoids ending up with that role when she can. finally, she is not the best at letting go of things - she doesn't want to give up on anything until it becomes absolutely necessary.
  15. What would your character want to be remembered for after death?
  she would want people to remember her as she was, nothing more and nothing less. for her positivity and kindness - most people would probably remember her fondly and she couldn't hope for anything more than that.

Trystan Blackwell
Human Bard

1. How would your character describe their childhood? Trystan's childhood was a free and happy one. Despite having lost his parents at a young age, he followed his best friend Alastor as his loyal servant, serving as second command as the two of them led their group of friends on outrageous adventures during their childhood. He'd describe his childhood as the happiest time of his life.
2. What were your character’s favorite childhood activities? Definitely getting into trouble around Daggerford, they'd spook the cows and pretend they were heroes off on quests and see who could get closest to Old Man Jenkins while he was asleep without waking him up.
3. What was your character’s fondest childhood memory? Something that would involve him and his 'family' or at least the people he considered family. Himself, Alastor, Karissa, Thoril, Mirek and Loissa, probably hanging out at Alastor's house.
4. Is your character a virgin? If not, when did they lose their virginity? Probably not lol. Alastor is prone to getting himself into trouble with the ladies.
5. Who has the greatest influence on your character? Why? Alastor Land, his best friend and brother. Before they met, Trystan was a good for nothing orphan thief, and Alastor was the one who convinced him to get a job at the local tavern and serve as a secondary leader figure among their group of friends, without him he would have gotten into a lot more trouble than he already has
6. Is your character able to kill? Under what circumstances do they find it acceptable? He's not a natural killer, but he'll kill if he has to. In Daggerford, especially under King Sephiran's rein, you learn that you have to do what you have to do
7. Is there anything your character refuses to do? What is it and why? Nah. xD Trystan is willing to do pretty much anything it takes to win, so long as it doesn't mean disrespecting or betraying his friends.
8. In general, how does your character treat others? Trystan is overall a friendly and social guy. He works as a musician at the local inn, The Rusty Bucket and loves listening to others tell stories and tell stories himself.
9. Who is your character’s best friend? How did they meet? Alastor Land. They met because they grew up together, with completely different lives in the same village. Alastor had the perfect family, loving parents and siblings and Trystan was some punk on the street. Alastor took pity on him and invited him over for some warm bread when they were little and it just went from there
10. If your character died or went missing, who would miss them? Trystan is generally well liked, so his loss would be a blow to most of the villagers of Daggerford but his friends, whom he adventures with and grew up with would surely feel his death hit hardst the most.
11. What does your character look for in a potential lover? For as much of a womanizer as Trystan is, he has no idea what he wants in a woman. But if he were to choose, he'd want for them to have a sense of humor, to be brave, to be fun and unafraid to get down and dirty.
12. How can someone impress your character? Definitely by telling him something he doesn't already know, or getting him some juicy gossip. xD
13. What are your character’s pet peeves? Sticks. In. The. Mud.
14. Name three things your character is good at. Name three things they’re bad at. Good: Singing, diplomacy, his spear. Bad: Flirting, drinking and general navigation.
15. What would your character want to be remembered for after death? Being fun and being free.

Karissa Harwood
Human Ranger

1. How would your character describe their childhood? While the rest of her family were often fooling around, Karissa was oftentimes hunting and taking care of her younger brother, Finnick. Her parents were always working in the mines but the coin they earned always ended up being snatched up by their 'boss' Balabar Smenk, who worked them to the bone with little to no coin in return, leaving Karissa to be the one to hunt and fend for the family
2. What were your character’s favorite childhood activities? The brief times that she was able to hang out with her friends, although she never really managed to be as imaginative as them
3. What was your character’s fondest childhood memory? Snuggled up with her dog under a tree, or maybe when she shot down her first buck.
4. Is your character a virgin? If not, when did they lose their virginity? Virgin
5. Who has the greatest influence on your character? Why? She doesn't have anyone. While she looked up to Alastor Land he didn't have a profound effect on her life, and her whole life she's always had to take care of herself.
6. Is your character able to kill? Under what circumstances do they find it acceptable? She kills (animals) as a profession but if she had to shoot down someone who endangered her or her family that dude is going down.
7. Is there anything your character refuses to do? What is it and why? Dresses and learning how to read. She finds dresses uncomfortable and thinks that if anything is worth knowing it can be said and not read.
8. In general, how does your character treat others? Karissa is generally pretty aloof and cold to people who first meet her, despite having a good heart. She's a very down to earth young owman and can be perceived as being haughty.
9. Who is your character’s best friend? How did they meet? Her best friend is her dog, Shiloh. Their meeting is nothing exceptional, there was a box of pups one day out in the rain on the streets of Daggerford. Most of the pups had frozen to death, save for one so she scooped him up and claimed him as her own.
10. If your character died or went missing, who would miss them? Her friends would miss her for a while, but Karissa has managed to keep a bit of distance between herself and them so they wouldn't be traumatized. Her dog would probably miss her the most
11. What does your character look for in a potential lover? She ain't interested rn
12. How can someone impress your character? Karissa's traction and speed in the woods is unmatched, so when someone can outshoot her or outrun her, they earn her immediate respect. She admires people who speak through their body rather than their mouth.
13. What are your character’s pet peeves? Posh people, definitely. And mages....she's definitely not fond of mages. Especially mages that TURN HER DOGS INTO HUMANS. @ You know who
14. Name three things your character is good at. Name three things they’re bad at. Good: Archery, tree parkour, navigation. Bad: Diplomacy, literacy, general cleanliness
15. What would your character want to be remembered for after death? She doens't care what people think of her when she's dead, it's when she's alive that she's concerned about

• • 1. How would your character describe their childhood?
    Verity had little to no stability growing up. Her parents were junkies and were part of the reason she headed down the wrong path. Foster care lead to homelessness by choice, which lead to drug dealing, theft, and other illegal activities. She was a criminal by the age of six and continued until she was arrested for a DUI at the age of twenty.
    
    2. What were your character’s favorite childhood activities?
    Despite her rough past, she loved art. She had a talent for design and drawing from the very beginning, her work being very accurate and detailed for such a young kid. She drew her first portrait at age eight which looked incredible realistic for something drawn by the hands of a child. From there her passion only grew.
    
    3. What was your character’s fondest childhood memory?
    There are little to none, but she does remember spending many night at her Grandmothers when her parents were too drugged to do anything with her. She would teach her how to bake and cook and then they would spend hours on the porch painting or drawing. She ended up on foster care when she was ten after her Grandmother passed as there was no longer a fitting adult to care for her.
    
    4. Is your character a virgin? If not, when did they lose their virginity?
    God, no. It took her awhile and a lot of sex with men until she realized she was a lesbian. And then the sex just continued on with women from there. She was rather promiscuous as a young adult and still had a bit of that fire in her. She lost her virginity at age 14, which was not ideal or legal, but at the time she didn't care.
    
    5. Who has the greatest influence on your character? Why?
    Nobody. V has nobody in her life anymore, so the greatest influence would have to be her art. That, or booze.
    
    6. Is your character able to kill? Under what circumstances do they find it acceptable?
    She almost killed someone in the car accident that had her arrested for a DUI, but other than that she had never come close and would never plan to. It's not acceptable for her.
    
    7. Is there anything your character refuses to do? What is it and why?

Centa Avius
1. How would your character describe their childhood?

Centa's childhood wasn't too great. Her mother died while giving birth to her and her father was a drunkard that would always tell Centa that it was her fault that her mother died. At the age of six, she ran away from her horrible life to live a more free one on the streets. This lasted until the age of 12, when she was caught in the act of one of her survival techniques.

2. What were your character’s favorite childhood activities?

Centa was, what most people called, a "street rat". Most of her childhood activities involved pickpocketing and general theft, but these were things she needed to do to survive. She wasn't allowed many other opportunities to take up other hobbies as the rest of her day would usually be spent either running from or hiding from the local guards.

3. What was your character’s fondest childhood memory?

Centa's fondest childhood memory was simply escaping her drunkard father's abuse and taking up her life on the streets. She may have been throwing herself into a difficult life, but it couldn't have been any worse than the life her father was giving her.

4. Is your character a virgin? If not, when did they lose their virginity?

Centa is a virgin. She has too many trust issues to get into any type of stable relationship before resolving the thing that gave her the trust issues.

5. Who has the greatest influence on your character? Why?

Centa's friends and "family" hold a great amount of influence over her for two completely different reasons. Even though she is distant and will quickly shut herself down to anyone prying too deep into her history, anyone who can overlook these quirks, Centa will consider a friend and she will fight her hardest to protect them. Centa's "family", however, holds influence over her through fear that she is about to lose her very essence. She does not consider her father as one of her family.

6. Is your character able to kill? Under what circumstances do they find it acceptable?

Centa is able to kill. She will kill for defense of herself and her friends. When she kills for hers and her friends' defense, it is usually provoked by attackers. She will defend just herself, even if her friends are right there beside her. This is a reaction to the fear she has of her "family".

7. Is there anything your character refuses to do? What is it and why?

Centa refuses to become the type of person that her "family" wants her to be. Her "family" wants her to be a cruel, callous person and she's too kind-hearted to want any of that.

8. In general, how does your character treat others?

At first, Centa will seem distant to normal people; however, she will always be willing to help those that she sees on the streets due to her past. Over time, she will become closer to those that accept her quirks and push away those who deny her quirks. She will never harm someone unless either provoked or scared.

9. Who is your character’s best friend? How did they meet?

Centa's best friend is a bar owner named Madame Siliana Reece. She really helped Centa get accustomed to her new surroundings upon fleeing from her "family". They met when Centa was 23. Centa walked into Madame Reece's bar to gather information about her new environment and got all the help she needed, and more, from the owner.

10. If your character died or went missing, who would miss them?

If Centa went missing, she wouldn't be missing for long due to her amazing ability to escape. Either she will escape on her own or her friends would come looking for her and help her escape. The ones she considers her friends would definitely be the ones to miss her if she were to pass away or suddenly go missing.

11. What does your character look for in a potential lover?

If Centa was able to get passed her trust issues to consider a potential lover, it would have to be someone from her close friends. This person would have to have proven to her that there's no secret that he/she wouldn't take to the grave. It would most likely be this person that Centa tells her whole past to.

12. How can someone impress your character?

Centa is impressed by people who treat the less fortunate/less privileged with kindness, rather than pushing them around. This is one thing she considers before she considers a person as one of her friends.

13. What are your character’s pet peeves?

Centa's biggest pet peeve is seeing someone bully or pick on someone else just because of the person looks or acts differently.

14. Name three things your character is good at. Name three things they’re bad at.

Centa is amazing at hiding from those she doesn't want to find her, listening to those she deems important, and bluffing as a means to hide her past. She isn't too good at dealing with animals (either training them or trying to keep them calm while she's trying to run or hide), entertaining others, and fixing things.

15. What would your character want to be remembered for after death?

Centa would like to be remembered as the one who would always stand up for those who couldn't stand up for themselves. She has been very passionate about helping people ever since she left her "family" behind.

  nothing out of the ordinary, really. her life was decent growing up from what little she remembers of it - the very fact that she hasn't retained many memories of it is a decent indicator that it wasn't anything special. one thing that has stuck with her was growing up an only child - she often got what she wanted from her parents and never really got a proper grasp on a lot of the socially accepted norms that she might have got from having siblings to interact with. she also didn't have too many friends as such, as she either pushed the other children away or they weren't interested in trying to make any progress in befriending her.
  2. What were your character’s favorite childhood activities?
  ophelia was a very adventurous child and spent 90% of her time out of the house - usually against her parents' wishes. she climbed trees and found places to hide out if she needed them, as well as learning all the ins and outs of the city she grew up in. the one thing she had always pestered her parents to let her do was to let her learn some form of self-defence or martial arts, but they wouldn't support her in that - so instead when she was a little older she made a habit of getting herself into fights whenever she could to learn through experience.
  3. What was your character’s fondest childhood memory?
  of the little she remembers of it, probably a weekend that her parents were away and left her unattended in the house. it had been great fun having the whole place to herself and being able to do what she wanted and not have to act the part of being the daughter her parents expected her to be. just before they'd left, ophelia had had an argument with her parents so as some small form of retaliation decided to host a party that left the house a mess with several things damaged. the satisfaction of it was well worth the trouble she got into when her parents returned home, and they never left her alone in the house for any long period of time after that.
  4. Is your character a virgin? If not, when did they lose their virginity?
  absolutely not. probably lost her virginity when she was being a rebellious teenager.
  5. Who has the greatest influence on your character? Why?
  there isn't one person in particular who has had a great influence on her recently. her husband and children were probably the closest people to having any kind of significant influence on her because she loved them so much. her family calmed her down from her usual ways a significant amount but after she lost them and distanced herself from her grandchildren she's gone back to her old self.
  6. Is your character able to kill? Under what circumstances do they find it acceptable?
  without a doubt. she can find a way to make it acceptable as and when the situation arises, but she doesn't actively seek people out to kill them for no reason. when it comes down to it she would rather have killing as a last resort, purely from the mess that it tends to cause that she hates having to deal with afterwards. in a situation where it is her only option, however, she will do it without hesitation.
  7. Is there anything your character refuses to do? What is it and why?
  not really. if you can give her a good reason or enough motivation she will probably do just about anything asked of her. ophelia has an incredible sense of self-preservation and looking for things to benefit her own ambitions, making it relatively easy to convince her to do things if they will help her in some capacity. the one thing that she would perhaps refuse to do is talk about her family - it hurts more than she will admit to think about them, but she still wants to protect them as far as possible so not talking about them to anyone is one of her ways of doing that.
  8. In general, how does your character treat others?
  it all depends on what mood she is in at the time. ophelia doesn't really care what other people think about her. she gets a thrill from deceiving people and playing mind games with them and as a result will more often than not be lying to them in some way. the only people she is likely to treat with even a shred of respect are people she knows overpower her or will harm her (or her family) if she isn't careful with them.
  9. Who is your character’s best friend? How did they meet?
  at the moment she has no best friend. her husband was her best friend for the years she spent with him but now her attitude towards other people has left her without any regular friends, let alone a best friend. at best nowadays she has people who tolerate her or need her around for a particular reasons, and she is perfectly happy with this being the case.
  10. If your character died or went missing, who would miss them?
  probably nobody. her family that are still alive don't even know her or that she's alive, and she has nobody to call a friend who would be upset by her death. there may be a couple of people who she has worked with or helped in the past who would miss being able to call her up for help with things, but other than that she would likely be forgotten or it wouldn't be noticed that she was even gone.
  11. What does your character look for in a potential lover?
  she's not particularly looking for someone, but if she was it would be somebody who would put up with her as she is and wouldn't expect her to change for them. someone with the same morals and sense of humour as she has too. most importantly, someone who isn't trying to use her and won't betray her in any way.
  12. How can someone impress your character?
  by out-thinking her or surprising her. there are not many people who can get the better of ophelia or lie to her and get away with it, so anyone who manages to do that will impress her and maybe earn some kind of respect from her too. catching her off-guard is also very difficult to do, so that would also do it.
  13. What are your character’s pet peeves?
  people being kind for no real reason. she doesn't understand it any more and it irritates her when people feel the need to "play the hero" just because they can. she also hates it when a discussion is being had but there is no progress being made - when things start going round in circles.

  lying, acting, and hiding her true feelings. years of practice and a lack of concern for the feelings of people around her have led to her becoming incredibly good at deception. she's not so good at genuine conversation with people (especially children). patience is also not often a strong suit of hers, and she is bad at keeping her temper if someone directs their anger at her unnecessarily.
  15. What would your character want to be remembered for after death?
  most likely for going down in some last heroic blaze of glory. ophelia will never admit it, even to herself, but if she's going to die she would want to be remembered in some spectacular way - largely to spite all of the people who look down at her.

              Jedi's voice cut through Kat's distracted thoughts as she twisted the knife in her hands, appearing to be examining it but really just getting lost in her own head. She lifted her head to look over at him, raising an eyebrow as she watched him. He had his other knives in hand, checking them over after finishing cleaning them. Never had Kat ever met someone who was so surprisingly meticulous about keeping their equipment clean - the first time she'd found Jedi polishing the knives after a show she had almost wondered whether he had a secret twin of some kind.
              
              "Be careful with it in case I hurt myself, or in case I drop it on the ground and you have to clean it again?" At her words he finally looked over at her with a grin. "Both. I also don't want you to stab anyone - although I wouldn't mind if you decided to sacrifice Needlefingers." He gestured to the small black kitten that was prowling along the edge of the tent, paying them no mind for the time being.
              
              It only took her a fraction of a second to grab the empty can that was beside her and lob it in Jedi's general direction, with enough accuracy for it to just bounce harmlessly off of his arm and clatter to the ground. "That was uncalled for," She started, feigning offense in response. "And I can't believe that you think there's a danger of me stabbing someone when there's no one around to stab - unless you're suddenly afraid that I might come after you?" There was a hint of a challenge in her words as she slid off of the table she'd been perched on, landing on her feet with a light 'thud'. It was enough to have Jedi straightening up slightly in preparation and that alone was enough to have Kat grinning.
              
              In reality, Jedi would easily beat her in any kind of competition where knives were involved - throwing them was what he did for a living, after all. That wasn't going to stop her from winding him and and having a bit of fun if she could though. "I'd love to see you try - you know I could stop you before you manage to get anywhere close to me, right?" He took a step closer, flipping one of the knives around in his hand and returning her challenge with one of his own. Mirroring his actions, Kat took a step towards him - and almost immediately regretted it. They were close enough that she was now being forced to look up at him due to their height difference - something that he too had picked up on judging by the smug expression on his face. "Try me Turner, I dare you-"
              
              "Again, you two? Really?"
              
              Both Kat and Jedi whirled round at the sound of another voice echoing across the empty tent. Marissa was looking surprised and a little less than pleased to have found them there - which only entertained the pair further. "What's that supposed to mean, Rissa?" Kat's voice was full of innocence as she watched her twin roll her eyes at them. "This is the third time I've run into you this morning, I just want somewhere peaceful to practice - oh, and Henry wants everyone together for a meeting in about ten minutes, so you'd better be there." With that the contortionist turned on her heel and stalked off, muttering under her breath as she went.
              
              Kat started giggling quietly as a thought crossed her mind, all previous thoughts of challenging Jedi temporarily banished. "Do you think she'd lighten up if I stabbed her? Nothing else seems to work." She extended the knife she'd been holding towards Jedi who took it from her before moving back over towards the table he'd been working at. "Doubt it - maybe if you let her stab someone else though." A snort of laughter escaped Kat as Milo crept over and pawed at her ankles. Crouching down, she scratched the kitten behind the ears whilst lifting her head to watch Jedi carefully wrapping the knives up in the material they lived in between shows.
              
              "I really can't imagine Marissa of all people being willing to stab someone - I don't even think I could ever stab someone." This time it was Jedi's turn to laugh, one eyebrow raised as he gave her a look that clearly disagreed. "No, seriously. I mean - let's be honest here, I can barely get the straw in a Capri Sun. It's not a question of morals here -" "You're telling me that you couldn't stab someone, because you would miss if you tried? Maybe you're more of a lost cause than I thought." There wasn't even an attempt to hide the sarcasm in his voice, and as much as Kat hated it she couldn't keep a straight face. "That's exactly what I'm saying, yes - is there a problem with that?" She sassed him back as she straightened up with her cat now cradled gently in her arms.
              
              Jedi opened his mouth to retaliate again but hesitated as his gaze fixed on the kitten. Kat still had no idea why he had such a strong dislike - maybe even a fear - of cats, but that wasn't going to stop her from using it to her advantage. They may be good friends, but that didn't stop them stooping to new lows in order to one-up each other. He eyed the cat for a moment longer, obviously debating what to say. "That's unfair, and you know it." He eventually settled on and mock-pouted at her. "When do either of us ever play fair, hmm?" A little smugness slipped into her voice as she glanced over towards the opening of the tent. "We'd better go before someone else comes to hunt us down."
              
              She'd barely taken a step in that direction before Jedi brushed past her, turning to walk backwards so that he could face her for a moment. "You know this isn't over, right?" The familiar smirk that Kat had grown so used to was back on his face again. "Oh I know, I'm counting on that." Seeing his eyes widen ever so slightly at her comeback simply caused her to give him a sweet smile as she moved closer and passed by him, leaving him stunned for a moment before he turned to follow after her.
