    • Question about the 1x1 Search.

Is it post, wait three full pages, then post again? Or is it post, wait two full pages, then post again on the third? I've seen people do the ladder and now I am confused haha.

Okay so apparently this has been a bit confusing for quite a few people. (Even myself as I had to ask about it and make sure this was correct before I answered this. XD)

Anyway. You have to wait a full three pages before you post your next search.
So technically you'd be posting on the fourth page, then.

    • Following up on this, I would like it to be known that shortly I will be correcting any recent mishaps of people not waiting it out the full three pages as well as placing a proper announcement down to make sure it stays known by everyone.

    • Ah bless, thank you! Perhaps putting that information on the first page of the Search Thread would help too because I went looking for the answer there!

Right, say you post on Page 1. The next time you could post is on Page 4. So whatever page you posted on, add three to know what page you can post on next. Another way to look at it is a waltz - ONE two three, ONE two three, ONE two three.

If I notice broken links in staff posts (like to rules etc) , who should I pm about that? Or is it easier to report the post with the broken link and explain myself in the report?

I think Attendants would be suitable for that; they can go through and update things in posts. I certainly don’t mind if Meraki also helps while the transition of Attendant to Overseer is finalized!

    • Coding question I guess?? How come the signature preview display is soooo much different than what your sig actually turns out like? It drives me insane because I had this beautifully set up sig and had to get rid of half of it because the preview was not the same as the result.

So, the quick links button at the top of my screen no longer lets me see my posts / bookmarks. Also, can no longer search the fourms.
How do I make this reverse? Have I hit a bad setting?

I logged out and in and it works again.

i'm not sure if there's an actual reason behind this (might help if an overseer answered that bit), but i find that it helps me to plop it into an actual post (like on a storage thread!) and preview it there! sometimes the preview feature on the signature bit makes it a tad smaller size wise, so you might have to tweak only the size rather than the whole layout. hope that helps!
